Lindependence 2008 is a project where FOSS activists in the San Lorenzo Valley on the Central California coast are bringing GNU/Linux and FOSS programs to the people of Felton,  California, a town of about 6,000 just “over the hill” from the Silicon Valley.

This blog is written and maintained by Larry Cafiero, who is coordinating Lindependence 2008 in Felton as the first of many projects of its kind.
